Sterlite Foundation has been born out of an innate belief that people need to give back to the society, in which they have prospered and thrived.

Sterlite Foundation, which was founded on 15th September 1992, has concentrated on four main areas of Social Responsibility.

These Four areas are:

• Education
• Child Care
• Women Empowerment
• Tribal Welfare

These areas have been chosen with the conviction that they will help vulnerable and underprivileged sections of society gain authority over their own destinies and join the main stream of the society.
